Zen Buddhist content-creator Brad discusses UFOs and aliens from a kind-of-Buddhist perspective in these two overlapping clips. The first is recent and was triggered by the recent UFO hearings in Washington, the second is from last year and was apparently triggered by the previous hearing of this kind.
One of the main take aways is that Buddhism might be less impacted by "disclosure" than the Abrahamic faiths, since there are UFOs and aliens (or similar phenomena) all over the Buddhist scriptures. Personally, I think Christians will simply declare the aliens to be angels or (more likely) demons, and reconcile them to Scipture that way. Less dogmatic Christians might accept "disclosure" at face value. (See my old blog post "When Jack met the aliens".)
Another interesting point raised by Brad is that the aliens aren´t "divine" (in the kind-of-Christian sense) nor more "spiritually advanced", since they need to hear the Buddhist message. In other words, the aliens are the "devas" of Indian mythology. Presumably, he doesn´t believe in Theosophically inspired claims that the aliens are Space Brothers, Ascended Masters or what have you.
Note also that Brad doesn´t rule out that the whole Congress hearing thing might be disinfo. Which it probably is, tbh.
Quite interesting content.
