Will the real Buddhism please stand up?

Whose Buddhism is the truest?

Imagine being an adult and not understanding this. This is how *all* religions evolve. Buddhism is no exception. Indeed, for all we know, Buddha didn´t even exist. Now, that´s a fine theme for meditation!

  1. Overheard on the web: Mahayana is a death cult disguised as a life cult, Vajrayana is a life cult disguised as a death cult!

  3. If you want to be taken seriously as a fact-checker, please don't fact-check satire...

  4. Are "liberal" and leftist activists completely devoid of humor? Like when they panicked when Biden *obviously joked* with a Fox News reporter about having found a running mate.

  5. No offense, but are political activists of the "cyberspace" type disproportionately autistic? That could explain the complete incomprehension of humor mentioned above...

  6. This is the Fourth Turning, guys. America will never be the same again. Regardless of which way the turning turns out to turn, nobody will recognize America in 2040.

  7. Here is a safe prediction, however. The next 20 years we will see a lot of conflicts of a class, ethnic and religious character. "Trans rights", "Critical Race Theory" or libertarian gaming, not so much.

  8. In that sense, I will feel right at home in the new world. The SJWs and their Gamergate opponents, probably not so much.

  9. The future is mine, kiddos. Move on over or I'll move on over you!

  10. All the bizarre and completely artificial BULLSHIT of the past 10 years of cyber dominion will collapse completely, as normal politics return and resume. No more Bronies, Pirate Bay, Gamergate, Queer Theory, Nazi Furries, all that nonsense!

  11. I can hardly wait for a good old fashion European Communist-socialist-centrist-conservative-fascist conflict, with some Greens uneasily parked on the sidelines!

  12. Maybe Breton nationalism will stage a comeback, too?

  13. OK, the conflicts may become different than 100 years ago (think Islam versus "nativism", or conflicts tied to climate change), but at least we'll get rid of the present day bull crap.

  14. Our grandchildren won't believe that there used to be Nazi and Stalinist Furries fighting each other.

  15. Or that there were less protests when Congress passed the Shake Down Act, sorry, Corona Relief Bill, than when J K Rowling tweeted something "transphobic"...

  17. In other news, Turkey just attacked Armenia. Turkey is a Muslim NATO member. Armenia is a Christian nation with ties to Russia and Iran. I invite y'all to take sides!

  18. It's about a projected pipeline connecting Turkmenistan with Europe. This would make Europe less dependent on Russian oil.

  19. Debatt mellan Literally Tax Cheat, pardon, Hitler och Creepy Sleepy Uncle Biden i natt svensk tid.

  20. Biden behöver i princip bara hålla sig på benen så har han "vunnit".

  21. Biden ville ha avbrott för rast varje halvtimme. Det här är ju pinsamt...

  22. I'm sure Biden can handle the Turkish-Armenian tensions...

  23. I suppose he could call General Flynn, who seems to be on good terms with both the Turks and the Russians.

    No, wait...

  24. Biden should be nominated for the peace prize, I mean his son took money from both Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs!

  25. Can we find some one who is on good terms with both Erdogan and Putin, You know, some American general maybe?
