Imagine being an adult and not understanding this. This is how *all* religions evolve. Buddhism is no exception. Indeed, for all we know, Buddha didn´t even exist. Now, that´s a fine theme for meditation!
Are "liberal" and leftist activists completely devoid of humor? Like when they panicked when Biden *obviously joked* with a Fox News reporter about having found a running mate.
No offense, but are political activists of the "cyberspace" type disproportionately autistic? That could explain the complete incomprehension of humor mentioned above...
This is the Fourth Turning, guys. America will never be the same again. Regardless of which way the turning turns out to turn, nobody will recognize America in 2040.
Here is a safe prediction, however. The next 20 years we will see a lot of conflicts of a class, ethnic and religious character. "Trans rights", "Critical Race Theory" or libertarian gaming, not so much.
All the bizarre and completely artificial BULLSHIT of the past 10 years of cyber dominion will collapse completely, as normal politics return and resume. No more Bronies, Pirate Bay, Gamergate, Queer Theory, Nazi Furries, all that nonsense!
I can hardly wait for a good old fashion European Communist-socialist-centrist-conservative-fascist conflict, with some Greens uneasily parked on the sidelines!
OK, the conflicts may become different than 100 years ago (think Islam versus "nativism", or conflicts tied to climate change), but at least we'll get rid of the present day bull crap.
Or that there were less protests when Congress passed the Shake Down Act, sorry, Corona Relief Bill, than when J K Rowling tweeted something "transphobic"...
In other news, Turkey just attacked Armenia. Turkey is a Muslim NATO member. Armenia is a Christian nation with ties to Russia and Iran. I invite y'all to take sides!
