This woman seems to take every Buddhist legend/myth absolutely literally. Here, she "proves" the existence of the hell realms by referencing two 20th century stories by people who claimed to have worked in hell part time (!) as judges of the souls of the dead (called "ghosts" in this clip).
The first story is attributed to Chinese philosopher and revolutionary Zhang Bingling (here called Zhang Taiyan), the second to a Hubei provincial official during the Republic of China named Li Shu (about whom I have found no further information).
Zhang´s story sounds apocryphal, since it comes from a private letter only published after his death. But sure, I suppose it´s possible that the venerable philologist didn´t want to tell the story of meeting the Ghost Emperor while he was alive...
I leave it up to you to judge the veracity of these stories.
