Let´s assume for the sake of the argument that the Western propaganda about Putin´s Russia is true. I mean, it *could* be. Russia is super-corrupted, and Russians aren´t exactly renown for their Germanic efficiency or quality-thinking. Shoddiness, incompetent bureaucracy, mad autocrats and false Dmitris, that´s more the Russian melody.
So perhaps NATO (the US) can defeat Russia in a proxy war in Ukraine.
There´s just one little problem.
Aëtius. He defeated the Huns at the famous battle of the Catalaunian Fields. And saved the Western Roman Empire!
Right?
Right...
Or think Byzantine and Persian empires, and how their constant wars enabled the Muslim Arabs to take over the Middle East...

Does anyone really believe that everything will just go back to Barack Obama normal the moment the oligarchs and generals move against Putin for fucking up the special military operation (if that´s what he is doing)?
