The Dems just won the midterms, fam
The Democrats just got their vote-winning issue in November´s midterm elections, which "everyone" expected them to lose. Until now? As far as I know, only a minority of US voters oppose abortion rights...
My own take on abortion, for what its worth, is that in a perfect world, it would be considered immoral, since the fetus is a potential person, not just some clump of cells. So no, it´s not about "my body my decision". The fetus isn´t part of "your body".
However, in the imperfect world in which we actually live, the rights of actual persons (such as the woman) take precedence over the rights of potential persons (the fetus).
Therefore, I support (if that´s the right term) the right of abortion.
My view on abortion is that its murder but in case of rape, its jjustified and perhaps even recommendedl murder. Even if The fetus is innocent its carrying the rapists genes. Keeping the child of a rapist is an absurd evolutional reward of rapists that keep their genes i the genepool.
Probably works better than Ukraine, tbh.
