| Celebrating 50 million years of evolution! |
A very, very bizarre discovery. 50 million years ago, carpenter ants were plagued by peculiar parasitic fungi literally growing out of their tiny little asses. They still are, apparently. That´s "evolution" for you, right there. A 50 million saga of rectum parasitism. Must be a very succesful occupation, since natural selection never weeded it out! Also, another good argument against pantheism. If you are a pantheist, this is your god, full stop, end of story.
Cordyceps fungus in humans. Not for real, but the game is brilliant. The first one that is, the second is a major disapointment.
