A correction

 

Me just now 

In one previous blog post ("Trump is the man") I suggested that maybe the gender polarization among young American voters was less pronounced this year than previously.

Dude.

A second look at the relevant statistics shows that this is very far from the truth. OK, so I was tired, bad at reading graphs, or whatever. Relevant links below.

That being said...I *still* haven´t found any breakdown of young voters according to race and gender. Are White voters in the 18 - 30 age cohort less gender-polarized than "colored" voters? 52% of White women overall supported Trump, but what was the percentage of White young women who did so?

Note that the abortion issue has "cratered" compared to 2022, which was unexpected to many. Note finally the comment that many "progressive leftist" youth may have decided to sit out the elections, which I suppose has been a common fear all along.
