The two YouTube clips above could be important, and speak for themselves. Still, here is an introduction. I assume literally nobody have missed the recent "UFO disclosures" in the United States. Steven Greenstreet is a reporter working for the New York Post, and his attitude towards the whole thing is extremely skeptical. Essentially, he believes that Congress is being duped by a small clique of "religious" true believers in UFOs and aliens. The whole thing smells of the strange happenings described in Jon Ronson´s book "The Men who Stare at Goats", indeed some of the same people seem to have been involved this time around, too!
In 2017, a sensational New York Times article revealed that the Pentagon used to have a secret project investigating UFOs. Greenstreet believes that the article was intentionally deceptive and written by two true believers in aliens. The name of the secret project was wrong, so was the name of the person supposedly heading it, and so forth. Sensationalist media reporting during the weeks and months ahead just added to the confusion. For instance, nobody got the name of the Pentagon project right?!
Greenstreet believes that the whole thing was a set up from start to finish, featuring billionaire Robert Bigelow (who does believe in UFOs and other paranormal things) and his long time friend Senator Harry Reid. Essentially what happened, according to the intrepid reporter, is that Bigelow convinced Reid to move legislation that would create a new agency within the Department of Defense monitoring potentially threatening aircraft. 22 million dollars was assigned to the agency, which then contracted none other than Bigelow´s space industry business to do the job! Indeed, Bigelow was the only bidder...
Later, it surfaced that the money had been used to finance some truly unorthodox activities, including search for UFOs (as in aliens) and paranormal research at the now notorious Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. The latter was supposedly a hotspot for all kinds of anomalous activities, including poltergeists, Bigfoot and werewolves. The idea of tax-payer money being used for werewolf research at a distant location in Utah is, I suppose, interesting. And guess who owned the ranch? Yepp, Bigelow. Eventually, somebody at the Pentagon pulled the plug on this peculiar project, but it seems some of Bigelow´s associates continued their lobbying of various politicians and eventually convinced them to finance an explicit UFO investigation, again under the aegis of the Department of Defense.
The story is still developing (the second video was posted this week), but it seems that the head of the new UFO investigation, Sean Kirkpatrick, has resigned and it set to present a very negative report to Congress. Meanwhile, UFO true believers - including those involved in these particular projects - are extremely angry at Greenstreet and Kirkpatrick, calling them "traitors to humanity", making what sounds like death threats, etc. New information has surfaced charging that the UFO-watchers failed to correctly identify Chinese spy balloons!
While all the above is interesting (and I will post more soon), I still don´t see how any of this debunks the sensational videos of supposed UFOs released by the US military. But sure, here is a scenario: the real conspiracy is that extraterrestrial space craft *doesn´t* exist, but the US military wants people to believe it does in order to cover up its own secret test flights (which are of a purely earthly nature). For this reason, real believers in aliens are from time to time allowed to "influence" certain government projects, "disclosures" are made, "secret information" is shared...all channeled through people in the ufologist community who are really secret military agents. The sensational footage of UFOs we´ve seen for the past few years is either doctored somehow, or shows advanced drones (ours or China´s).
If the werewolves are real is, alas, outside my present jurisdiction!
