A traditional Catholic take on transhumanism. I don´t really understand why transhumanism should be a problem per se, in the abstract. But then, I´m presumably less anthropocentric than many other anthropoids (or centrists). Or Catholics.
The real problem, surely, is the concrete one! If evil people (or cyborgs) hijack the transhumanist project, well, then we might indeed have a problem on our hands even bigger than the Industrial Revolution or AI at the office. But there is an even bigger problem (or "problem"): the entire project is bunk anyway, just as fusion power, carbon capture or non-cringey songs in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Transhumanism is simply hopium, just as trad Catholicism is copium.
