Lawfare

The Trump campaign and the GOP want Biden to stay in the race, and will sue if he tries to drop out. To create chaos, obviously, since nothing stops the Electoral College from selecting another president.

Will Ye return at the last moment, I wonder?

  2. Yes it's so convoluted now that it almost doesn't matter who the electorate votes for. The electorate (people) vote for the electors who vote for the party nominated candidate...not one man one vote...so each state gets a set number of electoral votes based on population.
And the state electors elect the president. Hence, Hilary Clinton had the majority of popular votes, 2.9 million, over Trump in the 2016 election. If Trump wins in 2024 what democracy we have is over.
Seriously. And let's not forget how states like Georgia are rampantly
disqualifying voters who are (Guess?) of darker skin color in heavily democratic areas.
