I recently commented on Norman Geisler´s text "Questions for Christians, Agnostics and Non-Christians". I decided to write a kind of parody on the text. How would Geisler sound if he instead asked questions to Satanists? I tried to make the questions as Geisler-like as possible: some are good, most are relatively bad, a few are ugly (and repetitive). I´m too lazy to find the Biblical proof-texts, though! So here goes...
1. How can you worship Satan, when the Bible clearly indicates that Satan is evil?
2. If you believe Satan isn´t evil, how do you square this with the clear statement in the Bible that he is?
3. How did you get knowledge of Satan? He is only mentioned in the Bible. Aren´t you being inconsistent when you accept the Bible as the source for the *existence* of Satan, while refusing to accept the Bible´s *position* on Satan?
4. What is your source for an alternative position on Satan?
5. Doesn´t the Bible clearly state that Satan sometimes appears as an Angel of Light?
6. Do you believe that Satan will defeat God in the end? If so, how do you explain that the Bible clearly states the opposite?
7. Do you believe that Satan is the source of all morality? If so, isn´t "Satan" really God? And if so, how can he be a rebel and a liar from the beginning?
8. How does your group worship Satan? Through human sacrifice, blood-drinking, or black masses? What is the basis for your belief that this is how Satan wants to be worshipped?
9. If you don´t believe in the Biblical devil, but rather in Set, Aiwass, Kali or Loki, what is the source for your knowledge about these entities? Is there any evidence that they exist at all?
10. If you are a member of the Church of Satan, how is your belief different from atheism?
/Not really serious.../
ReplyDelete1. Because I am evil, too.
2. See my latest answer.
3.S/he came to me the last equimox and told me the truth.
4. See my latest answer...
5. S/he is master of the light, as well as s/he is master of the darkness.
6. S/he has told me so.
7. S/he is master of all anti-morality.
8. The only way to find out is if we invite you. But then there is of course a problem - you will not ever be able to tell anyone.
9.As I told you I believe in Satan, because i met him.
10. You can ask that question to the Church of Satan. I broke all contacts with them when I relalized that they are against human sacrifice.
:D
ReplyDeleteVery strange and demanding questions. I bet you sit with your nose buried in books all day long while people like me are doing practical EVIL deeds. and thats all I have to say. That and the fact that i have the hots for transvestites in long black bath robes screaming like they were transitioning without any anasthetics should be enough to make you understand.

Live in Mora of all places. LOL. Are they productive members of society now?
ReplyDeleteMja.
