ReplyDeletePerhaps. Like when some of The left over males that went monastic in the old days exelled in various scientific work, or at least did valuabe copying of books.
ReplyDeleteMany of them made more usefull contributions than they ever could have without being monastic.
At best the icelmovement could be a decentralised version of the monastaries. At worst its school shoters and suicides and God knows what.
