The Bogus Idea of the Bogus Mystery of Consciousness

I admit that I became even more certain that materialism is "shit" (to use the favorite expletive of the author) after reading the above defense of, well, materialism. 

The main mystery of the qualia would go away if we just admitted that "the color red" or "the smell of cinnamon" actually exist out there, in a mind-independent objective world. Maybe its a spiritual-Platonic-Taoistic world, who knows? 

Yes, that´s what I said. Not the gooddamn wavelengths-interpreted-by-our-neural-circuit-as-red, but *red itself*. I know, I´m a naïve Platonic realist, but there you go...
