To give the apocalyptic devil his due, when I´m not quite awake or whatever, I kind of wonder if *something* strange *did* take place in 2012. I mean, didn´t our present problems begin around that time? But I suppose a more objective take would be that they commenced already during the 00´s (the finance crisis). But it´s still *quite* close to the accursed date, isn´t it? And since then, we´ve had black swan event after black swan event.
