The religion/scy fy interface is...interesting. For many reasons.
Awwww...he just has the hots for Dr. whatshername! Be ready for the big change eh? "Beings of light" flitting around the cosmos, then what? Teach some developing race on another planet how to build a Pyramid? But yeah, symbolic of intolerance for anything deemed "other" like gender disparity etc. "You hunted us down and I am the last survivor (just a regular dude at heart), now excuse me while I transmogrify into a blob of plasma and soar out into oblivion.
