Någon borde dubbelkolla de här planerna. Med tanke på Erdogans illa beryktade multi-vektoralism...
Eller ska vi helt enkelt acceptera att han inordnat sig i NATO-ledet nu?
It makes sense from a military viewpoint, but...what if Turkey decides to stop the oil flow in case of a shooting war with Russia? Due to the aforementioned multi-vectoralism. And where is the oil supposed to come from? Azerbaijan? Qatar? Multi-vectoralists all. So the idea is good only if these nations are firm NATO allies, which doesn´t seem to be the case. Sounds like something that could have worked just fine around 1950 or so...
"Infamous multi-vectoralism" great phrase! Still, it sounds plausible to extend the oil pipeline across Europe...not for civilian use though!
