Some surprising info in this video on Furries, one of the more quirky American subcultures. The number of LGBTQ-identified persons in the Furry fandom was *much* higher than I expected, while the number of outright autists was substantially lower. But then, maybe many of them are undiagnosed?
Also, I was surprised by the large number of Furries who don´t think they are entirely human (compare Therian Otherkin). I always assumed that Furries dressed like animals without thinking they *are* animals, while Therians are the other way around: they think they are animals, while not necessarily dressing that way!
Clearly I didn´t know half of it.
The prejudice that Furry is a kink seems somewhat true, however...

Learned the other day that furries often wear diapers under their costume because they appreciate "the childish feeling". Yuck. May Kali yuga be over soon.
