An intriguing defense of Nigel Farage´s shady(?) foreign relations from one Connor Tomlinson on YouTube.

There are two reasons Nigel Farage will now attend the World Economic Forum next week, after previously promising to cancel Britain's membership of the WEF:
> To ingratiate himself with world leaders, especially the Saudis and Emirates, ahead of becoming the next party of government > If speaking, he'll use the opportunity to insult globalist technocrats and Keir Starmer, to provide cover for the necessary networking, like Trump and Javier Milei have before him A lot of Reform's political capital and policy in 2026 will be spent on securing economic and diplomatic ties with the Gulf states, and realigning Britain with US and Israel. Farage visited Dubai in December. He frequently visits Washington DC. He attended Iranian revolutionary and Somaliland statehood protests recently. This telegraphs the trajectory of Reform foreign policy: a repudiation of the pro-EU, UN-alligned doctrine of Starmer and the civil service. Meanwhile, Richard Tice, Zia Yusuf, and Nadhim Zahawi all have business interests in the UAE, and others in Farage’s circle have investments in Dubai-centric industries like crypto. (Also the reason for the interest in El Salvador, and Bukele's successful crackdown on crime.) I say this as the man who did *the* segment on TalkRadio about the pernicious influence of the WEF on British politics back in 2022: This is a smart realpolitik move for Farage and Reform. They can build business and geostrategic relationships, then denounce Davos as a bunch of treacherous globalists and pivot to a new US/UAE/Israel alligned annual conference instead.
