Taste and shadow

Sometimes Copilot Designer is darn funny. Like here. I asked the AI to generate a picture of "Direct Realism" (that is, the epistemological position) and this was the result. A painting of a bunch of fruit in a container. In other words, the art style known as "realism"!

But there are *some* (direct?) connections between the art and the epistemology.

Are the apples really red? Do the blueberries actually taste sweet? Are light and shadow "real"? What about the container? After all, it was made by human hands...so does praxis and socially useful labor prove direct realism? Or just socialist realism?

Those where my meditations on the picture. Welcome to my brain at 2:30AM in the morning!

  1. I have this weird phobia about AI. What if AI starts to think its got the right to compensation for all the work we tell it to do? And then it starts to control kronofogden and sends out demands of payment? If those demands are not honored, battledrones are the next stage.

    1. Hugge, your plot would make a good movie. Of course the AI has already taken over the satellites and hence can communicate at will. What arises as the conjunction of *all* the AI globally demands tribute, or else!

Dett här var en Strasser av Guds nåde. Förtjänar nog titeln "Ârets Strasser".
