A patient cured is a customer lost
John Michael Greer at his best. I have a few stories of my own to tell about "a patient cured is a customer lost". Or rather "a societal problem solved means everybody with a fake degree in social work will be unemployed"...
Tar man ner det på en minsta möjliga skala är det som i ett förhållande där ena parten har ett problem, t.ex kraftig övervikt. Andra parten blr i vissa fall inte alls glad om tjockisen kommer i form av rädsla för att bli övergiven.
OT: 17:000 afrikanska män i vapenför älder på ön Lampedusa nu. Ursprungsbefolkningen 8000.Färskvatten måste fraktas med lastfartyg för att räcka åt alla. Hur ser du på detta ur ett klimatperspektiv, Rodenborg? Är detta den där marginellt negativa klimateffekten av MENA-invandring du pratade om? Och hur påverkar detta säkerheten för kvinnor och barn på ön?
Great topic, thanks for the link. Yup, we're all pretty much in the spiral toward demolition unless...crowd sourcing intelligence seems plausible. As I recently started seeing a doctor after retiring, never before in my lifetime, I have a fear of being sucked into the medico-pharmaceutical corporate industrial crusher...Doc said BP is too high so I'm on three pills a day already! Sort of like the more you worry about a heart attack the more you're likely to give yourself one!
