So I just read a book about the East Indian companies (read: European colonization in Asia). Currently, I´m reading another book, about a certain Hannibal and the Second Punic War.
War, war, war. Constant war with no end in sight. And no resolution either. Blessed are those who believe in Divine Providence (or it´s secular version: the Western Idea of Progress), because I certainly don´t.
