The French city of Bordeaux (with over one million inhabitants) is preparing for evacuation as we speak. Several large suburbs have already been emptied. The reason? Yes, the wildfires. Over 200,000 people have left their homes in the Bordeaux-adjacent regions of Gironde and Lande.
