No more thirst poasting

It´s become something of a gimmick here on the blog to post pics of particularly well-endowed young women everytime a Chinese spy balloon enters US air space or an American bank collapses. However, this has now become so common that the blog might run the risk of looking, shall we say, highly suggestive.

So from now on I will instead post pics of rare birds whenever the events mentioned above take place. I expect this to be something of a weekly feature in the months and years ahead...

Bad eternity?

The Arsha Bodha Center strikes again. It seems to be a fairly "orthodox" Advaita Vedanta ashram based in New Jersey (of all places), promoting the teachings of ancient Indian sage Shankara.

The teachers and members seem to be White Americans. The main teacher, Swami Tadatmananda, has begun to cultivate a beard, probably a sagely choice in my opinion.

The goal is to reach a state similar in character to dreamless sleep, and presumably to stay there. Forever? I admit I´m more into the bliss ninny thing, but I guess that´s just my karma! :D

Make of this material what you wish. For a critique, see here:

I am all colors

One of the most peculiar alien encounters took place in 1973 on the Isle of Wight, UK. The alien is known as Sam the Sandown Clown and have never been seen since.

The dragging clip above is from YouTube (the title and thumb nail are click bait), while one of the links below is to the original report, published in the British UFO-logy magazine BUFORA Journal in 1978.

The witch-like moderator of the YouTube channel points out that one of the eye witnesses, the seven-year old girl, was nicknamed "Fay" by BUFORA. There are certainly similarities between her story and traditional tales of fairies (also known as "fay").

What on earth (pun intended) Sam the Sandown Clown could have been is anybody´s guess, but it does show the crossover between supposed UFO cases and traditional folklore about very different kinds of creatures. Which may or may not give us a clue as to what´s really going on here...

But anon, now you made me a bit worried, are you telling me a THIRD bank just collapsed in New York???

Doug & the Dalai

Doug´s Dharma, a "secular Buddhist" channel on YouTube, comments on the recent Dalai Lama fracas, during which the Tibetan Buddhist leader asked a boy to suck his tongue?!

Link below to the full, uncensored version of the Dalai Lama situation.

May Day nostalgia

Every May Day I get really nostalgic. I long for the verities of the New Deal, the cooperative commonwealth, the Cold War even...

Utsuro-bune

"Ancient Aliens" must be desperate if they use this as evidence for UFO contact. Even if we accept this story as true (most do not), it´s very explicitly not about aliens from outer space, but about a White woman washed up on a Japanese beach in 1803.

The only connection to the modern UFO phenomenon is the peculiar shape of the boat. OK, maybe the "box", too, since aliens apparently carry weird boxes or something. (Like nobody else ever did that this side of the Antares star system!)

Skeptics regard the story of Utsuro-bune as fake anyway, being a 19th century adaptation of classical Japanese folk tales. Today, the motif is apparently also popular in manga and anime.

He is Odin´s man

The woke Viking Arith Härger claims to be excited by a new archeological find in Denmark showing an ancient association between Norse god Odin and the swastiska.

Not sure if I buy it. Härger´s excitement, I mean!

Personally, I think Odin is really an euhemerized version of Attila the Hun, but that´s me!

Jeffrey Epstein didn´t kill himself

A lot of high ranking people, and even Noam Chomsky (!), met with Jeffrey Epstein after his conviction for sex crimes against minors in 2008. Note that the original source is the Wall Street Journal.
