Sing along

So I asked ChatGPT to compose a hymn to Tripura Sundari. The system isn´t *that* good at poetry (at least not the free version) but it´s mildly interesting, so here you go!

Can you compose a hymn to Tripura Sundari based on Venus-Sukra astrology?

Here is a Śukra–Tantric, astrological hymn to Tripurā Sundarī, explicitly integrating Venus as graha, daitya-guru Śukra, Friday (Śukravāra), fertility, beauty, rasa, prosperity, and the alchemical/ṣaḍ-ripu–purifying side of Śukra-vidyā.

It is still liturgical in style, but more astrological than the previous version.

🌺 Śukra-Jyotiṣa Hymn to Tripurā Sundarī

(Tantric & astrological emphasis on Venus / Śukra)

oṁ śukrāya namaḥ
oṁ aiṁ hrīṁ śrīṁ tripurā-sundaryai namaḥ

1.
O Kāmeśvarī,
You who shine within the heavens as the star of dawn,
You who arise as the Śukra-tārā,
visible before the sun yet born of its fire—
I bow to You,
the secret radiance behind Venus’ brilliance.

2.
O Śukra-śakti-svarūpiṇī,
Power behind the daitya-guru,
You are the wisdom that restores life,
the compassion that melts suffering,
the rasa that sweetens existence.
Through Śukra’s ray, You bless the world
with love, poetry, desire, and renewal.

3.
O Bhṛgu-kula–maṇi,
Gem of the lineage of Bhṛgu,
the sage who perceived your beauty
in the star that rules artists, lovers, healers,
and those who seek refinement of soul.
Through You, Śukra becomes
the guru of both worlds—
prosperity on earth, freedom in spirit.

4.
O Śrī-jyotiḥ-vidyā–jananī,
Mother of the light of astrology,
You weave nakṣatras into garlands
and planets into syllables of mantra.
When Venus transits the sky,
it is Your footsteps across the heavens;
when Venus is exalted,
Your grace flows more freely into human hearts.

5.
O Rasa-rūpiṇī,
Essence of fragrance, beauty, ornament, and affection,
You guide all beings
from sensual attraction
toward the subtle sweetness of devotion.
Under Your Venusian gaze
desire becomes offering,
and pleasure becomes worship.

6.
O Śukravāra–īśvarī,
Queen of the Friday rites,
accept the sandalwood, the rose,
the white lamps and sweet offerings
given in Your name.
On this day Your planetary current is strongest—
gentle, creative, harmonizing,
purifying the heart of harshness and sorrow.

7.
O Tripura Sundarī,
whose beauty is the measure of the three worlds,
whose smile turns the orbit of planets,
and whose desire births the cycles of time—
Bless me with the Śukra-guṇa
of refinement, artistry, love, compassion,
and the alchemical power
to transform longing into liberation.

oṁ aiṁ hrīṁ śrīṁ
oṁ śukra-tārā–vasini tripurā-sundaryai namaḥ
oṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ

If you want, I can also compose:

📜 A shorter daily Śukra-praise mantra
🪔 A Sri Vidya pūjā sequence specifically for Friday / Venus
📿 A version referencing specific Venus nakṣatras (Bharani, Purva Phalguni, Purva Ashadha)
🌌 A more esoteric astro-Tantric hymn linking Venus to Śukraṁaya-Śiva

Just tell me which direction you want to explore.

  1. A note for ornithology nerds. So I asked the "fast" version of Bing AI to generate a picture of Tripura Sundari with a ring-necked parakeet, but as you can see, it looks more like a flashie mutant version of an Alexandrine parakeet. Which is...interesting, I suppose.
