I didn´t know J-Rod was still a thing, but it seems so. The short clip above is from "Ancient Aliens". I heard about J-Rod (a.k.a. the J-Rod, JAROD, J-ROD or AQ-J-Rod) already in 2002 when the fringe magazine "Nexus New Times" published a number of articles on the topic. One was a letter from a certain Dan Burisch, who was supposedly held incommunicado at Area 51 and was believed to be dead. To my surprise (or maybe not), there are several interviews with Burisch on YouTube post-2002...
The story seems to be that the secretive organization Majestic-12 captured an alien from the Roswell UFO crash and took him to Area 51. Burisch was the scientist tasked with doing research on this "Extraterrestrial Biological Entity". The EBEs are evidently a kind of futuristic humans who know the secrets of the cosmos, including something called "Ganesh particles". No surprise there, as Burisch´s letter in "Nexus" has a certain spiritual-new age undertone. There is also a lot of polemic against Neo-Darwinism in favor of directed panspermia. It´s not even clear whether the J-Rod was imprisoned, since he willingly worked with the human scientists and even participated (dressed in a suit) in a meeting with Edward Keller, the "father of the hydrogen bomb"?!
Like most stuff published in "Nexus", the story is very hard to believe (LOL) and I don´t have a link handy, so you have to make do with the four-minute clip above. Or you can go watch the interviews with a very alive-and-kicking Burisch (I haven´t done so yet).
The current whereabouts of the J-Rod are, alas, less clear!
