This one´s difficult to understand. Our minds are apparently "too efficient" in relation to the mass of the brain, the time it takes for the neurons to (mis)fire, and so on. One explanation could be that...well, I don´t know, something about "the edge of chaos". You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star! It has something to do with quantum effects, emergent properties, and so on. Good luck with this material.
