For the record...
For the record, I´m mostly fooling around at the moment, not really knowing how to use this blog. Besides, I never hosted a blog before, so I´m still learning. I have some ideas about how to use this blog in the future, but it will probably take a few months before I decide on it. In the meanwhile, enjoy the Communist high strangeness! And yes, that´s my human form on the picture. Note the pronounced Altaic-Uralic features. My UFO crashed near Tunguska, well, actually it crashed into a Chinese jet airliner over Mongolia, and this guy was the first human I saw, so...

Hey Ashy! It was slow this afternoon here in the Windy City, lot of rain etc, so I went to read your reviews for entertainment an pass time, as i am wont to do once in awhile. I thought I had gone blind! None to be found..looks like the nay sayers got to somebody. And what about Dan Lawler? Don't see him either..Hmmm

Amazon has deleted all (!) my reviews for unknown reasons, and also suspended my ability to comment, so my only chance at communicating with my fanbase was to start a blog and enter its adress at the product page. I have been in touch with Amazon twice this week, no response yet! Meanwhile, enjoy some of my old discarded reviews about strange Communist groups here on Blogger! Is Dan gone too? Is it an Amazon purge???
DeleteSounds like they have muted you. I can't imagine the trolls would have convinced Admin that it is necessary to "the common good" to do so. Of course they may take all the New World Order conspiracy stuff seriously.
DeleteI finally found the 'search for friends and family' box on A-zon. One puts in a profile name and up pops 66 Dan Lawlers. The little icon of (maybe) the Black Hills of Dakota seems to be himself, reviews of Christian apologetics, AW Tozer etc. etc. The high literate caliber of his reviews makes me 90% certain it is him.
I used to think you were a "professional" reviewer or something, maybe a collective of paid reviewers, not knowing how A-zon works. They are attempting to relocate HQ to Chicago with no little cost to us taxpayers!
If you still have access to your own profile you can find that search and ID him.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been banned from Amazon, but associating with a known violator and disinformation shill may get me there. On the other hand, they probably keep me around because I spend so much money with them (as I actually buy the books I review unlike some who, for example, would review books based solely on the covers).
ReplyDeleteAmazon is increasingly making the site less fun. You cannot track comments on a review, which has largely eliminated what had in the past been amusing and enlightening threads. Their latest move is that they now unilaterally hide reviews on your profile based on a "sensitivity filter" but they provide no guidance as to what the filter considers sensitive. It is supposedly for the poster's benefit so, for example, if a user has an orc porn fetish, those reviews will be hidden on the user's profile page. Amazon hid my review of "Union with Christ", not sure how that fits in the same category as orc porn, but ours is not to reason why. The user can turn off the filter now, if you know how, but it may be just a matter of time before that option is eliminated.

ReplyDeleteI was trying to find one of my brilliant comments in response to a post you had on one of my brilliant reviews. In the past I could find all of our mutual comments on amazon books by googling "dan lawler" + "ashtar command" + amazon. No more! Now, the only hits for that search are my comments on this blog, even though your comments still appear under my amazon reviews. It appears that now Google has joined the conspiracy to erase you from the Universe!

Aha! Since Blogger is owned by Google, I suppose they are following the old principle "Keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer".
