Apparently, October 12 is "Columbus Day" in the United States. With all due respect to Italian-Americans, good ol' Cristobal Colon can't be seen as one of history's good guys. He's right up there with Mussolini, Berlusconi, Andreotti, Jimmy Hoffa, Al Capone and, I suppose, Caligula...

ReplyDeleteApparently, they have something called Dia de la Raza, but I'm not sure what that is. La Raza in this version are Mestizos and I think the flag of La Raza shows three crosses, one for each of Columbus' ships. But other Mexicans talk about Aztlan and such stuff...
ReplyDeleteThe mexicans are not exactly PC themselves. Very common with racist attitudes against other south americans with more south american native DNA and culture. MS-13 was very much in the beginning a response to mexican attacks on El Salvadorians in USA.
