Toward the Breaking Point

Talleyrand´s bed (!)

John Michael Greer, the peak oil & deep plunge occultism blogger extraordinaire, has some *very* interesting comments on current US politics (and related topics) on his blog this week. Link below. I predict that this might become one of his more memorable blog posts!

Stuff covered includes: the UFO "disclosure", the Wuhan turn-around, the media crucifixon of Bill Gates, the replicability crisis in science and - ahem - the French revolution (clue: almost nobody got out alive, except - it seems - Talleyrand).

What caught my eye was the Big Pharma connection to the Wuhan lab. If the "conspiracy theory" is right, *the United States medical industry* is responsible for the COVID pandemic?! Which raises a lot of questions about why the Biden administration suddenly blames everything on the Wuhan lab - they point the finger at China, but I mean, it´s not impossible to find out where the funding came from! (The claim is relatively main stream by now.)

Also, the Bill Gates situation is curious, especially since it also re-opens the can of worms known as "Jeffrey Epstein didn´t kill himself". Something very strange is going on, and it´s not clear to me whether it´s a grand conspiracy, or whether certain people desperately want to get out, but aren´t too smart in covering up their tracks first (or just don´t care about it).

Bill Gates = fall guy? Joe Biden, Kamala Harris = also fall guys???

Here is an extended quote from the blog post, titled "Toward the Breaking Point". But read everything on the link below. You might even consider spreading it in your blogospheric circles.

Now all of a sudden US government flacks and the corporate media have turned on a dime and are admitting that, well, yes, there’s a major Chinese governmnet medical research installation in Wuhan, and scientists there were conducting gain-of-function studies on bat coronaviruses—that is to say, studies in which viruses are genetically modified to make them more dangerous—and yes, there’s some evidence that viruses thus modified got out of the installation by way of inadequate biosecurity procedures and caused the pandemic. What was a crackpot conspiracy theory a few months ago is now being taken seriously all over the front pages, and the sudden pivot on the part of the supposedly impartial fact checkers is getting a lot of raised eyebrows.

Is there more going on here than meets the eye?  Of course there is. Those gain-of-function studies in Wuhan were partly funded by US tax dollars, via one of the many slush funds that our federal government uses to prop up the medical industry here and abroad. (The reason seems to be that these extremely risky studies can’t be done in the US due to safety regulations, and so the US medical industry promptly offshored them so they could keep playing with their dangerous toys.)  Specific US officials approved that funding and the studies it paid for—and some of those officials ended up also playing a significant role in pushing the narrative that the Covid-19 virus must have come from the meat market and couldn’t possibly have escaped from a lab. It’s pretty clear that covering certain highly placed and highly exposed rumps took precedence over the truth for a good long time.

One question for which I don’t have an answer yet is why the narrative has shifted so suddenly. No new data has surfaced—the information about the facility in Wuhan and the evidence that the virus was manmade have been around for more than a year, and yet suddenly they’ve gone from fringe subjects to front page news. I confess I wonder if this is connected to the equally sudden swerve that’s turned Bill Gates from media darling to media punching bag. Until quite recently, Gates was one of the principal celebrity flacks promoting the medical industry’s response to the Covid-19 virus, and his charitable foundation was heavily involved in funding that response.  From at least one angle, it looks rather distinctly as though he’s being set up to take the fall for something.  Still, we’ll just have to wait and see.

  1. One of many possible reasons why the lab theory suddenly is kosher:
Not enough people want to get "the jab" yet. But if if they belive kung flu is a manufactured bioweapon thats more frightening and might tip the vaccine hesitant in the "right" direction.

  2. Yes, that´s certainly possible. Personally, I suspect that JMG might be on to something when he suggests that the center cannot hold much longer, leading to radical (although not necessarily always positive) changes...

Maybe I´m just imagining things, but do more "SJWs" want to get out before it´s too late? I mean, Cissi Wallin recently made a U-turn. Trans-criticism is suddenly everywhere.

Is there "something in the air"? Or just my usual overheated imagination, lol?

  3. Might be something in the air. Ive heard a couple of female SJW relatives express concerns latley that might be "problematic". I told the most obnoxious of them to stop complaining now that all the things she wished for are about to take form. Couldnt be mean to the other one, her kids are going thru hell right know because she cant afford to move out of the heavily enriched area where they go to school.

  4. My impression is that somehow, the fact that many people (and some political parties) are "politically incorrect" or "radicalized" have been normalized in some sense. Aftonbladet writes that maybe the Danish proposal to process asylum seekers in Africa is the next new normal. They don´t like it, obviously, but are they fighting it? SD is fêted by the Conservatives and Christian Democrats. Oisin Cantwell (also in Aftonbladet) was worried that the "COVID denialists" will be proven right in their criticism of the lack of free speech. I think Hübinette feels this, too. He says somewhere that SD has been normalized since the establishment still wants to paint Sweden as the best nation in the world, so most of the attacks on "extremists" are against the groups further right...

I didn´t expect this. I assumed the craziness would continue for another 10 years or so, until everyone just dies...
