One thing that struck me when listening to the YouTube presentation is that the Buddha´s description of the "creator-god" Brahma´s appearence in our universe is similar to the bizarre modern speculations about Boltzmann brains! Is all of modern physics just a restatement of South Asian mythology?
Note also the similarity to Gnosticism in which the Demiurge thinks he is the real god ("you are wrong, Yaldabaoth"). The most intriguing idea is only mentioned in passing: that perhaps the duality between atheism and theism is fake. All is Emptiness...
