Schismatic

A sneak peek into the bewildering demimonde of conservative Anglicanism. Or perhaps its most "official" expressions. The recent split between the Church of England and GAFCON may lead to smaller splits from the English Church itself as conservative groups more loyal to GAFCON leave the Canterbury fold. Something they in effect have already done, since it seems these groups set up their own quasi-schismatic structures years ago. 

Note also the perhaps salient fact that the conservative faction is multi-ethnic and probably dominated by African Churches! Probably not a succesful brand of right-wing politics in the years ahead, but then, the entire concept of mostly non-English Anglicanism sounds strange in the first place...
