Some Muslim influencers on-line apparently mock the victims of the recent Nepalese floods, claiming that this somehow disproves Hinduism and Buddhism, since their "idols" didn´t protect them against the disasters. Yet, *the very same Muslim accounts* ask for aid to the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, to the Palestinians in Gaza, and so on?! So where was Allah when all those Islamic believers were killed...
Unfortunately, the Hindu content-creator sounds "communalist" at the end of his video. Nor does he explain why Vishnu allowed the floods. Still, the bad theodicy (or bad faith?) of his opponents is glaring...

There is an interesting conspiracy theory that *Israel* is behind the recent storming of Ceuta, presumably in collusion with Morocco. The reason? Spain is currently anti-Israeli. Morocco, on the other hand, has signed the Abraham Accords, which are also a key part of Trump´s foreign policy. And some pro-Israeli / pro-Trump outfit in the US actually called on the POTUS to recognize Morocco´s territorial claims on Ceuta and Melilla.
Personally, I think this was really triggered by Morocco´s perennial conflict with Algeria (Spain is "pro-Algerian"). Still, it will be interesting to see if the anti-Zionist portions of the mainstream media will acknowledge this conspiracy theory. After all, it collides with their present narrative, which is that the Moroccan incursion into the Spanish exclave is a genuine refugee crisis...

Okej, jag måste klaga lite på språkbruket i svenska medier. Igen. Eller propagandan?
För det första: "Vad händer om USA lämnar NATO". Men USA kan inte lämna NATO. Det är USA som bestämmer i NATO. Det är en amerikansk organisation som Europa och Kanada anslutit sig till. Ingenting annat. Om USA lämnar FN, kommer FN fortfarande att finnas till. När Storbritannien lämnade EU, fortsatte EU att existera. (Fråga britterna får ni se!) Men om USA "lämnar NATO" kommer NATO att upphöra att existera. NATO kommer att upplösas. Poängen med denna retorik verkar vara att framställa NATO som en självständig organisation, ungefär som just FN och EU. Ungefär som om det faktiskt vore en norrman eller en flygande holländare som bestämde i den nordatlantiska "alliansen". Den starkaste militärmakten om USA "lämnar" NATO kommer förresten att vara Turkiet. Så näste "generalsekreterare" blir väl en krypto-islamist med uppdämda osmanska stormaktsdrömmar, men whatever.
För det andra: "Ukraina förhandlar med USA". Jo, det stämmer nog att Ukraina faktiskt gör det. Men varför? USA och Ukraina är ju inte jämbördiga parter. Ukraina är nämligen USA:s (NATO:s?) proxy. Vad hindrar USA från att helt enkelt diktera villkoren för sina proxies? Givetvis just ingenting alls. Titta på Israel. Både Biden och Trump dikterade villkoren för Netanyahu. Nu var villkoren inte särskilt hårda, men poängen är att alla vet vem som håller i penningpungen (och vapenleveranserna). Och Israel är förmodligen starkare i förhållande till USA än vad Ukraina är.
Så vad handlar förhandlingarna om egentligen? De hänger antagligen samman med att Trump-administrationen är splittrad i sin syn på Ukraina. Vilket i sin tur avspeglar att det amerikanska etablissemanget med stor sannolikhet stödjer Ukraina. En annan aspekt är nog att Trump vill åt Ukrainas mineraltillgånger. För att få *dem* måste han ju förhandla. USA har inga trupper på marken som bara kan gå in och ta dem. Och många av tillgångarna ligger på eller i närheten av mark som ockuperas av Ryssland. Men i medierna framställs det alltid som att Ukraina är en självständig, jämbördig part med USA (och NATO, och EU...).
För det tredje: "Den regelbaserade liberala världsordningen har gett vika för stormakternas tid. Nu är det stormakterna som gäller. Stormakterna...stormakterna...stormakterna!!!" Detta måste vara den aspekt av retoriken som är mest idiotisk. Misstänker att alla utanför Västeuropa skrattar rått just nu. Det har *alltid* handlat om stormakterna. Alltid. Alla vet att "den regelbaserade liberala världsordningen" uppstod - inte 1945 - utan 1989-91, när USA blev världens enda supermakt. Den upprättades alltså av en dessa förkättrade stormakter. Det (Väst)europa inte gillar är att stormakten som hållit dem om ryggen sedan 1945 har dumpat deras söta små ärschlen. Men i mediernas Eviga Nu får man intrycket att världshistorien började med en väldigt idealiserad Barack Obama!
Eftersom detta inlägg nästan låter "vänster" måste jag väl betona att jag alltså stödjer Israel, Ukraina och EU mot Trump. Jag kanske rentav stödjer "stoooormakterna", vad vet ni. Men det är lite oroväckande att herrarnas propaganda låter både feg och fjollig. Vi snackar copium i kubik. Och jag tror inte enorma mängder av den drogen hjälper mot islamism, putinism eller trumpism...

The letter did not specify why Canada would no longer be invited; China also received an invitation to join and has not responded formally at press time."

Just in: Donald Trump wants to create an alternative UN based on the Gaza Board of Peace. Permanent membership would cost a billion dollars. Trump would be the chair of the new council or whatever the structure will be called. With unlimited veto powers! Oh, and he threatens France with 200% tariffs on wine and champagne since Macron has refused to join the Board. Not clear if that´s the board for the Gaza property development project or the more ambitious plan?
It´s obvious that he lost it. This is no longer the "funny" Trump who was very good at trolling the media with his antics. Something else is going on here. The problem is that his second-in-command JD Vance might be just as bad. Or even marginally worse. One heart beat from Hell...

This is getting more and more ridiculous. Russia has reportedly been invited to join Trump´s Gaza committee. Hungary has already signed up. Apparently, Albania have been invited, too. Yes, Albania! There´s a catch, though. Any nation that wants a seat has to pay 1 billion dollars. Not sure where the money goes. Trump himself? Something tells me it won´t be the UN bureaucracy!
So if Albania wants to become a target for future Hamas terrorist attacks, they just fork over a billion bucks and get a little pire in the Gaza strip? Or something?
Does the Fourth International (FI) support al-Qaeda? Somehow, I doubt it. Yet, the article linked below was published in their magazine "International Viewpoint". It originally appeared in "L´Anticapitaliste", the publication of the NPA, the FI´s famed French section.
The article argues that Israel conspires with Somaliland to expel the entire population of Gaza to that particular country. No source is given for this truly remarkable statement. A conspiracy theory? Then, the piece expresses tacit support for Al-Shabab. Ahem, that´s an al-Qaeda ally...
How confused is the far left *exactly*? Here are two representative quotes.

Note also that *literally nobody* want to exclude Azerbaijan from the ESC. Why not? Isn´t (Shia Muslim-majority) Azerbaijan (which hardly allows Pride marches) responsible for ethnically cleansing Christian Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh and then perpetually occupying the region?
Or is there something *very special* with Israel in particular? Hint, hint, hint. Note also the irony that Azerbaijan, as far as I know, haven´t threatened to boycott the ESC...
