Jag har just haft en liten insikt. Visst, jag är AI-skeptiker. Men det verkar som att "de sedvanligen misstänkta" tänker göra AI till sin nya paradfråga efter migranterna / klimatet / Palestina. Palestinafrågan klarade tokvänstern alldeles utmärkt av att driva själv, men det saknas inte ett visst stöd från etablissemanget här heller. Närmare bestämt den falang som vill "balansera" Israel och palestinierna, och använder de unga radikala vildarna som murbräckor. Så vad säger detta oss om AI-frågan?
Rimligtvis att en falang av etablissemanget ligger bakom även detta. Antagligen den falang som vill reglera AI via den byråkratiska apparaten. I min kristallkula ser jag demonstrationer av oroliga ungdomar, vänsterakademiker som diskuterar hur "kampen mot AI" ska inlemmas i "intersektionaliteten", en och annan brandbomb mot datacenter...och absolut ingenting uträttat om tio år.
