The second of
three volumes covering all species of mosses (Bryophyta sensu stricto) found in
the Nordic countries. Bulk of the text is in Swedish. Many color illustrations
and photos of the 292 species covered. Mostly in green! Orders included:
Pottiales, Splachnales, Orthotrichales, Hedwigiales, Bryales. Part of 17-volume
biological encyclopedia known as Nationalnyckeln. The NN is a work in progress,
and nobody knows where it will end up, or even whether it will ever cover
