Something really is rotten in the kingdom of Denmark. I recently linked to some Swedish articles about these archeological finds in neighboring Denmark, but these English-language pieces are actually better.
The first deals with several waves of massive population displacement in Stone Age Denmark, probably caused by war and/or pestilence. The second is about an itinerant flint trader killed and sacrificed by hostile locals.
So it seems both mass immigration, genocide, pandemics and complaints about flint prices are as old as sunshine...
But the Stone Age was peaceful, right?
