Just a quick reflection. I´ve been kind-of-watching the 2012 remake of "Red Dawn". In the remake, North Korea (!) and Russia invades the United States and occupies a huge swath of the country. The film follows a group of young resistance fighters who call themselves Wolverines. 

It struck me that in today´s bizarre political climate, the North Koreans would be seen as the good guys by many campus leftists. They would gladly join the ranks of the collaborators,  spouting the same meaningless "social justice" slogans and sending their fellow citizens to concentration camps. OK, I suppose the North Koran colonel would have to become a bit more trans-savvy in 2023. 

But then it struck me, that the Alt Right also would have supported the invaders. The Russians, remember?

Not sure what that means. That Robert B Spencer is Sergeant Major Andrew Tanner?
