Bolshevik meltdown?

Sole remaining reader?

The International Bolshevik Tendency (IBT) is a small left-wing radical group based in the SF Bay Area, with supporters in New Zealand, Britain and some other countries. The IBT claims to be Trotskyist, but has often taken positions regarded as pro-Stalinist by other Trotskyists. They also sound more stringently sectarian. This issue of their magazine "1917" is also available at the group's website. It was published in 2010. The front-page article is a relatively shallow analysis of the finance crisis. The longest piece is about the Maoist "people's war" in Nepal and its aftermath. There is also a critical article on the NPA, a French leftist party which promoted itself rather heavily all over Europe a few years ago. Most other items are leaflets, often criticizing competing leftist groups. "1917" gives a rather theoretical and in-house impression, and is probably of little interest to the general reader.
