A review of "Guide to the Birds of Alaska", 6th edition
A photographic field guide to all 300 species of bird
regularly encountered in Alaska. The free preview only contains some of the
ducks, geese and swans. A funny detail is that many of the Anatidae shown can
be found at the local suburban bird lake in Stockholm, Sweden, where I live.
OK, let me guess. Sweden is part of the same global eco-region as Alaska? I
admit we don't have tufted puffins, but Atlantic puffins can be seen next door
in Norway…
