Sarek ultra-lite

A review of Timoteij´s album "Längtan".

For those familiar with the Swedish band Sarek, this is Sarek lite, or even Sarek ultra-lite.

Timoteij (the name means "Timothy-grass", but is deliberately misspelled) performs very light weight folk pop, with easy melodies and catchy refrains. And yes, they sing in Swedish. Incidentally, all band members were around 19 years old when recording this album, but they look much older on the album cover...

"Längtan" is good as muzak, or if you want your grannie to dance! :-)

The biggest mistake on this album: the duet with Alexander Rybak. Please, can't anyone send Rybak to Siberia???

Next week: An integral analysis of post-structuralist neo-paradigms.
And then, maybe not. LOL.
